About the Programme

The Sahara Graduate Management Training Program has been set up to identify, develop and groom the model Saharian Talent and Future leaders with the inherent potential to lead key aspects of the company and drive Sahara Group’s business growth aspirations.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The Sahara GMT Programme is a career boost for recent graduates and young professionals who have the potential and desire to become Future leaders at Sahara. It’s a 9-month program that will adopt a learning system that combines theoretical business know-how with practical application on the job.

This programme would be largely experiential, focusing on developing meaningful and impactful skills on-the-job. It would include foundational skills training, in-house classroom training programs, on-the-job assignments and rotations, stretch projects as well as coaching & mentoring.

Your Responsibilities as Graduate Trainee

  • Actively participate in the Programme (on-the-job tasks, peer learning, mentoring, and training assigned).
  • Work on assignments related to an assigned role within a function. Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects (on a project basis or as full rotation to other departments).
  • Take full responsibility for planning and organizing activities related to your assignment, as well as delivery of assigned objectives, projects, and results. Actively propose process and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate, develop, and maintain relationships with colleagues from own team, other departments, mentors, project sponsors - while proactively seeking feedback.
  • Take full ownership over your development: leverage each opportunity and feedback.
  • Be resourceful & driven to make an impact on the world stage.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Science courses; Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business Management, Accounting, Finance and any other related degree with a minimum of Second-Class Honors (Lower Division). Post Graduate Certificate and an ability to speak French will be an added advantage.
  • NYSC discharge certificate is compulsory with a maximum of 2 years of working experience.
  • Maximum age of 25 years old by December 2022.
