MTN Foundation (MTNF), incorporated in 2004 to drive MTNN’s various CSR initiatives, was commissioned in May 2005.

MTNF embarks on Social development projects in key focal areas of Economic Empowerment, Education and Health in response to wide stakeholder engagement and the needs of the Nigerian people on a sustainable basis. Recently, the key focus areas have metamorphosed into Causes. These are Arts and Culture, Youth Empowerment and Mother and Child Health. MTNF has become known for its brand of wide impact and sustainable Corporate Social Investment (CSI) interventions done in partnership with government/multilateral agencies, NGO’s and for-profit project consultants.  

Over N18.9 bn has been committed to MTNF projects to date comprising 750 MTNF project sites in 36 States including the FCT.
