Job Summary

This HLP role provides technical support to pipeline and flowline integrity management, maintenance planning, and emergency response coordination within OML 30’s onshore operations. The position is ideal for early-career engineers looking to deepen their experience in pipeline systems, corrosion monitoring, and field execution of pipeline-related activities, while supporting engineering, HSSE, and community interface processes.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in maintenance planning and troubleshooting of rotating machinery.

• Monitor equipment performance and identify efficiency losses.

• Support vibration analysis, thermography, and condition-based maintenance.

• Participate in RCA (root cause analysis) for mechanical failures.

• Assist in managing spare parts inventory and equipment records.

• Interface with OEM vendors and contractors during major repairs or overhauls.

• Contribute to reliability improvement projects and HSE compliance.

Skills and Competences

• Knowledge of rotating equipment operation and maintenance

• Basic vibration and thermal analysis

• Mechanical failure diagnostics

• Condition monitoring tools and techniques

• Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)

• Understanding of mechanical seals, bearings, and alignment procedures

Qualification

• B.Eng. in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in plant or oil & gas field equipment.

• COREN or NSE membership preferred.

• Field readiness and attention to detail essential.
